+1: this is a really great idea, and would really help with cross-language testing.
A few updates in the patch:
# Add .vagrant to .gitignore
# Erlang requires git for getting a package
# make dist for C++ requires the qt lib; using libqt4-dev (removed commented out qt-sdk)
# Java requires ant as well as javac
Now, just to add those other languages.
