[jira] [Created] (HIVE-2704) Hive Hangs when I run SQL query with where clause

Hive Hangs when I run SQL query with where clause
-------------------------------------------------

                 Key: HIVE-2704
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HIVE-2704
             Project: Hive
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: SQL
    Affects Versions: 0.7.1
         Environment: Linux RedHat server
            Reporter: Uma
             Fix For: 0.7.1

I have setup Hadoop hadoop-0.20.203.0 and hive-0.7.1 in Red Hat Enterprise Linux AS release 4 (Nahant Update 6)
In Hive when I fire a simple SQL query it gives resuult. whereas when I fire a query with where clause it hangs. I have tried even setting fairaScheduler. No luck. Please help me
