Maintain session state between Calls

I used the wsdl2java to create the stubs for 2 services.
I need to share cookies between these two services.  

Has anyone been able to do this?

I've tried taking the Call object from one service on the client and reusing
it for the second service, but the cookies don't seem to carry over (they
did until I set the new endpointURL).
