switch locale from decoration

Hi all.

Is there a way to switch the prefered locale setting from decoration code?

I would like to have an alternating language switch in the menu area
that alternates languages (English, German) and leads back to the
default.psml.

In JS1 it was possible in adding a GET parameter to a request (guess it
is js_language). Is this also possible with JS2?
