Jar:deploy-snapshot problem

I get the following error when I try to deploy a snapshot jar to my own
remote repository...

[exec] ln: cannot create ucm-SNAPSHOT.jar: File exists
    [exec] ucm-snapshot-version: File exists
    [exec] [ERROR] Result: 1
BUILD SUCCESSFUL
Total time: 20 seconds

Of course the issue is that the link is already there from a previous
successful deploy. I understand the jar:deploy goal was originally
intended for internal use and that there may be some <deployArtifact/>
tag but I can't find any information on using it. Can anyone point me in
the right direction?
