Thanks for the comment [~felixzheng] .

The code that I am refactoring makes certain assumptions that may not be valid for Kubernetes. For example it registers files as local resource (yarn-specific) and it makes use of the Hadoop Filesystem abstraction. The purpose of this PR is simply to start cleaning up a bit the code in the {{YarnClusterDescriptor}} (although it is a small step). It does not introduce any new code or functionality.

If we want to make these things more abstract then I think we should come up with a design.
