[jira] [Commented] (JENA-2204) Storage required by TDB2 is much higher than TDB1, How to Fix ?

Andy Seaborne commented on JENA-2204:
-------------------------------------

I loaded 250k triples into TDB2 and got 49M, and with 1M triples (BSBM data) into TDB2 and got a database of 197M.

If this is an active databases (adds and deletes) you can run {{tdb2.tdbcompact}} on the database. Fuseki has a "/$/compact" operation.

> The storage required by TDB2 is much higher than TDB1
> For 100k statements - TDB1 takes about 90 MB, while TDB2 is taking ~ close to 1 GB.
> Why is there such a difference and is there any solution available to reduce the storage size?
