New User....really stuck

I've been trying to get slide to work with Tomcat 4.1.9 for the last 4 hours with no luck. Would someone be able to help?
 
 
I have a Tomcat application defined at TOMCAT_HOME/webapps/tate/.
I want about 6 users to be able to connect to that webapp to write/edit/delete code using a WebDAV client like Macromedia Dreamweaver or Oracle's JDeveloper.
 
 
I can not figure out how to get this to work. I can view a listing of pages in the /webdav app that came with tomcat but I unable to open them up or edit them.
 
 
I'm really stuck, does anyone have any ideas?
