[I] [HELP] XIAO ESP32C3 fails to advertise over Bluetooth [nuttx]

linguini1 opened a new issue, #17913:
URL: https://github.com/apache/nuttx/issues/17913

   ### Description

   Build:

   ```console
   $ ./tools/configure.sh esp32c3-xiao:ble
   $ make -j
   ```

   In the USB console connected to the device:

   ```console
   nsh> ifconfig
   ifup bnep0...OK
   nsh> bt bnep0 advertise start
   hci_cmd_done: WARNING: status 12
   bt_hci_cmd_send_sync: ERROR:  Failed get return parameters
   ERROR:  ioctl(SIOCBTADVSTART) failed: 5
   ```

   What is the proper way to test advertising? I would like to see if the device can show up on my mobile phone when I have it searching for new devices.

   Quick update: I have managed to get the device to appear on my mobile phone as "Nutt" with the attached configuration.

   1) Would it be appreciated to open a PR to include this configuration for the Xiao?
   2) Is the initial problem in this issue still considered a bug? (i.e. bluetooth command itself isn't working)

   Hi, there is no such configuration for the Xiao. I will try copying the
   configuration to the Xiao and testing?

   Hi @simbit18, I don't think so yet. I did get NimBLE working, but the default `esp32c3-xiao:ble` config has the same error I reported initially, which I think (?) is still a bug.

   Hi,
   Please check `nimble` configuration using [docs](https://github.com/apache/nuttx/blob/master/Documentation/platforms/risc-v/esp32c3/boards/esp32c3-devkit/index.rst#nimble)
