YETUS-983 hardcoded dryrun_both_files to prefer cumulative .diff over per-commit .patch. This fixed the stale-file bug but removed hard-coded the other behavior. Since this may not work for everyone (binary handling seems to be an issue), let's make the behavior configurable.
