[Bug 120457] New: ORDER By removed when a saved query is edited

https://issues.apache.org/ooo/show_bug.cgi?id=120457

          Priority: P3
            Bug ID: 120457
                CC: ooo-issues@incubator.apache.org
          Assignee: needsconfirm@dba.openoffice.org
Summary: ORDER By removed when a saved query is edited
          Severity: normal
        Issue Type: DEFECT
    Classification: Application
                OS: All
          Reporter: telocker02@googlemail.com
          Hardware: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
           Version: AOO 3.4.0
         Component: none
           Product: database access

a forum discussion regarding the bug is here:
http://www.oooforum.org/forum/viewtopic.phtml?p=511136#511136

When a saved query is edited the order by statement is lost. This occurs
whether using the GUI and selecting the sort order or when writing the query as
SQL text.

I have replicated this on 3.4.0 running on OS-mountain lion and on windows XP.

Platform:
Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium Version 6.1.7601 Service Pack 1 Build

Apache Open Office 3.4.1 AOO341m1 Build 9593 Rev 1372282

Base - Query
If you are working with the "Edit SQL" I have not seen reported errors.

If you are working with the "Edit" I confirm that the previous settings of the
parameter "Order by" are lost, the system does not fill out this parameter, and
so if you do not manually reset, the previous settings for this parameter are
lost when you save the modified query. .

--- Comment #2 from Jacques-64 <ja...@free.fr> ---
This issue is present with AOo 3.4.1
See thread (in french) :
http://forum.openoffice.org/fr/forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=37461&p=206117#p206117

Test base attached here. When you edit a request with SQL everything is OK.
If you edit it with the builder, first time "ORDER By" diseapear from the view
but is still executed.
Second time, there is no more ORDER BY in the view nor SQL

Tested on OS Win XP-SP3. Another contributor confirmed with AOo & not with
LiBo.
