[Xalan-J 2 BUG] getNextStepPos

Hi,

I try to use my xslt transformations (working fine under Xalan 1) on 
Xalan-J 2 and have at the really beginning the following message :

XSLT Error (javax.xml.transform.TransformerConfigurationException): 
Programmer's
  assertion in getNextStepPos: unknown stepType: -2

It seems that the transformation have not begin and I don't know how to 
interpret this message.

I'm working under a DOS environment with Windows 2000.

Note: I do not have this message all times. It is only with a specific big 
stylesheet. If nneded, I can send it.

Thanks a lot for deciding if this is a bug or only a documentation 
explanation bug,
