Tomcat not finding native library

 Version 5.5.15

Tomcat is not finding libtcnative-1.so, it is located in the
java.library.path and permissions are good.

Nothing seems to be wrong with the library:

Could it be that the library is 64bit?
libtcnative-1.so: ELF 64-bit LSB shared object, AMD x86-64, version 1
(SYSV), not stripped

Does tomcat expect to find a 32-bit file? Does it matter? APR is (of
course) also 64-bit.

Other than that I can think of nothing else.
