You said that in JDK 1.4, getIndexedProperty() doesn't return an
IndexedPropertyDescriptor, but you didn't say what it does return. Knowing that
might be helpful.
Also, if this is a problem with PropertyUtils, then it's really a problem with
Commons BeanUtils rather than Struts.
