Hi 

I had just installed the Tomcat 5.5.17 on linux red hat9. I had also installed
the admin pack in the same dirctory as of tomcat. Now I am unable to login in
Tomcat Administration.

Hi,

by default Tomcat does'nt allow admin and manager to login. Go to 
conf/tomcat-users.xml and add the roles for admin and manager.
