[jira] [Created] (CASSANDRA-6391) Expose a total memtable size metric for a CF

Nick Bailey created CASSANDRA-6391:
--------------------------------------

Summary: Expose a total memtable size metric for a CF
                 Key: CASSANDRA-6391
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CASSANDRA-6391
             Project: Cassandra
          Issue Type: Improvement
            Reporter: Nick Bailey
            Assignee: Aleksey Yeschenko
             Fix For: 2.0.4

We currently expose the size of the current memtable, but that metric doesn't included memtables that are pending a flush and the memtables for indexes. It would be nice to expose all of these as a single gauge metric to get a picture of a single column families heap usage.
