notifications
https links in Jira email notifications
---------------------------------------
Key: INFRA-1120
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-1120
Project: Infrastructure
Issue Type: Bug
Security Level: public (Regular issues)
Components: JIRA
Environment: all
Reporter: Martin Sebor
The email notifications sent by the Jira server in response to database updates have recently changed from containing ordinary http:// links to the affected Jira issues to the https:// kind. I suspect we want the former (i.e., http://).

Jeff Turner commented on INFRA-1120:
------------------------------------
Yes, I changed it to https recently because all JIRA pages now go through https (http is transparently redirect to it). ssl is a good idea here since there's frequently authentication tokens and sometimes passwords on the wire.
