[jira] [Created] (DRILL-2384) QueryState is not making it back to the client

Chris Westin created DRILL-2384:
-----------------------------------

Summary: QueryState is not making it back to the client
                 Key: DRILL-2384
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/DRILL-2384
             Project: Apache Drill
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: Execution - Flow
    Affects Versions: 0.7.0
            Reporter: Chris Westin
            Assignee: Sudheesh Katkam

In TestDrillbitResilience, I tried using the QueryState in messages from the server to determine whether a query had failed/was cancelled/completed normally, and it was always null. It looks like this is somehow not being propagated to the client from where it is set/sent in Foreman. We need the appropriate QueryState to be returned.
