Camel vs. SMX Maven repository

Hi,

I started a thread on the Camel dev mailing list discussing which Maven
repo to use for uploading new artifacts needed by Camel.

http://old.nabble.com/GAE-API-in-Maven-repo-tt26243221s22882.html

We finally discussed the two options:

- https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/servicemix/m2-repo/ (ServiceMix Maven
repo)
- https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/camel/m2-repo/ (Camel Maven repo)
Camel already uses the ServiceMix repo to download jars. Which option do
you prefer?

Thanks,
Martin

Hi Martin,

thanks for the update, I will add the new repo in the servicemix-camel pom.

JB

Done,

http://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/camel/m2-repo has been added in the
servicemix-camel component trunk.

Hi Jean-Baptiste,

seems that there are no objections against uploading the artifacts to
https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/camel/m2-repo. So I'll put them there.

Hi Martin,

for my part, I think that we need to consider Camel as a SMX dependency
(like CXF, ActiveMQ, etc). So, Camel should upload artifacts and
dependencies to https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/camel/m2-repo and the
ServiceMix Camel component should have this repository in its pom.

Let see the feeling of the other guys.

JB
