[jira] [Commented] (OODT-528) Merge back changes made to
CuratorLuceneCatalog into main stream LuceneCatalog
[ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/OODT-528?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=13487656#comment-13487656 ]
Luca Cinquini commented on OODT-528:
------------------------------------
The FM LuceneCatalog.addProduct() method has been changed to possibly reuse the product ID, if available - this was the only change that caused CuratorLuceneCatalog to be forked.
At the same time, the Curator package is now using the standard FM LuceneCatalog (and LuceneCatalogFactory) instead of having its own out of date copies.
Preliminary testing of the Curator web app indicate it is working properly and that products can be correctly updated, but more testing within other applications is recommended.

> Curator uses a version of the LuceneCatalog implementation that is 95% identical to the main-stream LuceneCatalog implementation in File Manager. At the same time, since the time it was forked, the FM LuceneCatalog has evolved with several bug fixes. The Curator module MUST be brought back to use the main FM implementation, and whatever patches were applied to CuratorLuceneCatalog must be merged back into FM.
