Need a tutorial on building SVN

Hi,

Can anyone recommend a fairly straight forward and easy to read tutorial for
building Subversion Server 1.5 under Ubuntu Server 8? I plan to host my
server through the HTTP protocol first, and then add HTTPS later when I
verify that is working. I've found several articles via Google, however none
of them have really been very helpful. Thanks.
