[GSOC project idea] ODE/Eclipse BPEL/BPELUnit integration

Hi ODEers,

Eclipse BPEL, BPELUnit and Apache ODE have proposed two interrelated
GSOC project ideas that might be of interest for interested students.

Both are about integrating the BPEL testing framework BPELUnit with
Apache ODE and Eclipse's BPEL designer. Since BPEL processes can be
considered software, testing is as crucial as for traditional software
development. BPELUnit provides means for testing BPEL processes and
mocking partner services and is therefore a good candidate for
establishing test suites for both BPEL processes and BPEL engine.

Once integrated with Ode, processes can be instrumented and tested in
isolated environments with various build and/or continuous integration
tools.

Once integrated with Eclipse BPEL, tests cases can be created, deployed,
executed and evaluated within Eclipse.

The former is a project idea for Apache ODE and can be found here:
http://wiki.apache.org/general/SummerOfCode2009

The latter is a project idea for Eclipse BPEL and can be found here:
http://wiki.eclipse.org/Google_Summer_of_Code_2009_Ideas#Ideas

We're looking forward to your applications (of course only if both
mentoring organizations will be accepted by Google :) )

Best,
  Tammo
