[jira] Commented: (GERONIMO-2580) CorbaRefBuilder inserts ref for java:comp/CORBA that fails when corba gbean is not present.

David Jencks commented on GERONIMO-2580:
----------------------------------------

I think I fixed this in trunk by making the corba ref builder look around to see if there are css bean or tss bean refs or if the orb is present before adding the corba ref. I also don't understand how Kevan got the original problem to occur- it never has for me and I don't see how it could with our current build. If you explicitly started the openejb-corba-deployer config it would occur before this fix.

Needs to be tested a bit and ported to 1.2

> I just fixed the CorbaRefBuilder to actually work, however now it's inserting References that cause starting components to fail when there isn't a matching CORBABean available.
> I'm not sure what the best solution is. One simple solution would be to remove the CorbaRefBuilder from configurations without corba running. However this would mean you'd have to explicitly enable corba deployments when you want them.
