   Capture of validation or parse errors (or unparse when we get there) for incorporation into TDML tests would certainly be nice.  Creation of negative tests is equally important to positive tests. 
   
   Note that one does not, generally, want to capture entire error messages, but sub-strings of them. We have Daffodil JIRA tickets about improving the error messages by removing all the redundant long file names from them, and generally improving their format. 
   
   Don't make it your job to write some elaborate error message parser. We should fix those so they're more easily handled by fixing these issues on the daffodil library side of things.
