This issue leads to the requirement for JikesRVM build system to fetch the entire classlib and rebuild it with the minor patch that exports the needed symbol. Pulling this patch into Harmony classlib would enable JikesRVM to use prebuilt Harmony classlib, making integration a lot easier.
