[jira] [Created] (CASSANDRA-10832) DevCenter gives extranious input error when using order by ASC and limit

William Streaker created CASSANDRA-10832:
--------------------------------------------

             Summary: DevCenter gives extranious input error when using order by ASC and limit
                 Key: CASSANDRA-10832
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CASSANDRA-10832
             Project: Cassandra
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: CQL, Tools
         Environment: Windows 8.1 64Bit
            Reporter: William Streaker
            Priority: Minor
             Fix For: 2.1.x

When issuing the following statement:
select * from crlfile where group = 'Active'
order by createDt ASC limit 1;

I get this error:
Unable to execute CQL script on 'laptopCluster@envieta':
com.datastax.driver.core.exceptions.SyntaxError: line 2:23 extraneous input '1' expecting EOF

When issuing the statement using DESC order it works. It will also work if I remove the 'limit 1'. This issue occurs with DevCenter 1.4, 1.4.1, and 1.5

Table Definition:
CREATE TABLE CRLFile (
   group TEXT, -- Group Files by Year-Month(YYYYMM). Latest file will be in group "Active"
   createDt TimeStamp, -- Date File was created
   fileContents BLOB, -- File itself for download
  PRIMARY KEY ( group, createDt ))
  WITH CLUSTERING ORDER BY (createDt DESC);
