Retrieving XML document through JSP in Tomcat

Sir I am facing problems in retrieving data from xml document through JSP
page. PLease help me. Requirement is of browsing the xml document from hard
disk and converting it into excel file all through the JSP page.If you can
provide me with appropriate example it will be really helpful.
