[jira] [Created] (MNG-6524) apt-get installs version 3.3.9

Dmitry Goryunov created MNG-6524:
------------------------------------

             Summary: apt-get installs version 3.3.9
                 Key: MNG-6524
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/MNG-6524
             Project: Maven
          Issue Type: Bug
            Reporter: Dmitry Goryunov

{code:java}
apt-get update && apt-get install -y maven{code}
Results in version 3.3.9 being installed.
Isn't bumping the version a part of the release process, or is it supposed to be done by the ones who need the new version?

----
Context info: I'm running on Ubuntu:16.04 inside Docker. Not sure if it matters.
