Samsara Notebook

Imagine the Scala Notebook, with Spark and Samsara, then maybe add visualization via json out to javascript imaging.

That is definitely interesting. I wonder hat it would take to get it set up?

I talked today with William Stein (http://wstein.org) from U. Washington
Math about Sage Math Cloud (https://cloud.sagemath.com). He had the idea of
adding the Samsara DSL to the language options for notebooks and cells.

We would need to help with the installation and environment variable
setting steps, and then we'd have a ready-built test/experimentation
environment available to Mahout users to try out the DSL.

It would be a toy unless we helped him set up Hadoop/Spark cluster(s) for
the service, but just having the shell running somewhere for the curious I
feel would be valuable.

Any interest in pursuing?
