Senior JAVA J2EE Developer
Location: Fairfax, VA 
Duration: Long Term
Salary: DOE but Open to 1099 or W-2 

Senior level Java/J2EE Developer needed with 7 years or more experience in
the design, development, integration and management of intranet,
public-facing/consumer Web-Based Applications and Portals. Ideal candidate
will have hands on experience in Java/J2EE application development, J2EE
related technologies and Web Services. The individual must have working
knowledge and experience with rapid development methodologies. Experience
should include workflow, rules-based engine, and transformation engines
highly desirable. Large mission critical system is being re-architected.
Job Requirements Must have skills/knowledge/experience:
**Bachelor degree with 7+ years experience

**Java/J2EE development

**Experience with Tapestry required and one or more of the following:
Spring, Hibernate

**Technical skills should include: J2SE, JMS, XSLT, and other XML related
technologies

**Strong analytical skills and an understanding of Object Oriented Analysis
and Design Web services

**J2EE Best Practices, Design Patterns and Performance Engineering

**Develop and maintain technical (design documents, unit and integration
plans) and end-user documentation.

**Research and fix data errors as needed.

Desired Skills:
**Some combination of the following: Axis or Glue, WSRP, Portlets, Servlets,
JSP, Struts, Tiles, OSWorkflow, JESS or Drools.

**Working knowledge of Oracle9i/10g, JBoss Server, Clustering, LDAP with
JAAS, JMX.

**Should have worked on any of the following: Enterprise Architect/ Rational
Rose/ XDE/Together. Knowledge of JBoss, Tomcat, Resin, Business Process
Management (Workflow
