   Its funny that you mentioned the Karaf carousel. I actually quite disliked how it is used when I came across it in recent weeks. With it potentially listing many _older_ releases, it can easily end up pulling you towards them instead of the current one. It got in the way more than it helped.
   
   If you don't happen to be looking at the carousel immediately, before it starts rotating, but then do look later (e.g tab away and then return) you don't necessarily know or notice you aren't currently looking at the newest release entry for that component. Something you cant tell without then first looking at all the previous entries. So you can easily end up being pulled toward an older release details instead of the current.
   
   (Looking at it again now, I now also see that it has more entries than there are 'indicators' underneath..when it goes past the last one you then dont even have that prompt you arent looking at the newest entry).
