transaction demarcation

I'm building a web app and use DAO's to abstract the persistence layer.  I'd
like to use multiple DAO's in one transaction without exposing Torque to the
client.  Can I use JTA with Torque to accomplish this?  If not, does anyone
have any suggestions?  Thanks in advance.
