Key: PLANET-2
Summary: HTTP Facility block projects using wrong default type.
Type: Bug
Status: Unassigned
Priority: Major
Project: Avalon Planet
Components:
HTTP

Updated: Fri, 13 Aug 2004 2:22 AM
Description:
The index.xml file in the http/blocks directory contains a set of project defintions are using the default artifact type (i.e. jar). This results in the addition of a reference to a project jar in the block classpath generated by magic. In most cases the blocks subprojects do not generate jar files - as such a assembly error occurs.
The solution is to update the index.xml to declare explicitly the projects that are not generating jar file by setting their primary artifact type to "block".
