[jira] [Created] (INFRA-8367) Migrate Jena from svn to git.

Andy Seaborne created INFRA-8367:
------------------------------------

Summary: Migrate Jena from svn to git.
                 Key: INFRA-8367
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-8367
             Project: Infrastructure
          Issue Type: Task
          Components: Git, Subversion
            Reporter: Andy Seaborne

Please migrate Jena top level trunk, branches and tags from SVN to Git.

That is, we are expecting it to look like the current github mirror:
https://github.com/apache/jena/

The current SVN repo is: https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/jena/

This leaves the website (.../asf/jena/site) in svn.

There are various other ad hoc directories in svn. We'll care of these after we get used to the nitty-gritty details of our git workflow - we're assuming SVN will remain "live" because that's where the web site comes from. These are not currently mirrored to git anyway.

Results: http://mail-archives.apache.org/mod_mbox/jena-dev/201409.mbox/%3C541BF519.7030305%40apache.org%3E

Git change mails should go to commit@jena.apache.org.

We have JIRA integration for commit messages to trigger JIRA comments and we'd like that to continue.

Anything else you need to know?

Thanks, on behalf of the Jena community.
