Problem in creating doctypes
Hi,
I am creating pages by using my own defined samples using following URL:
http://lenya.apache.org/docs/1_2_x/how-to/custom_resourcetype.html
It works fine but it uses the default xslt created for document type xhtml.
I have figured out the issue and have found that the doctype of the new page
is xhtml but in order to use my own defined xslt its doctype must be
accordingly.
Does any one have an idea of it ?

sorry i can't help you there since i don't use lenya 1.2.
please post such questions to the user list - they are not development
issues. most (all?) developers also read the users' list, so chances for
helpful answers are just as good there.

Yes I did.
But i am unable to understand that instead of using myown defined doctype
why xhtml is reterieved when i try to get it using
page-envelope:document-type.

did you take a look at the link document type?
links2xhtml.xsl
and
page2xhtml-links.xsl
within the deault publication default/xslt
