[jira] [Commented] (CLOUDSTACK-3616) [VMware] Failed to create
template from volume (volume is created from snapshot of data volume)
[ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CLOUDSTACK-3616?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=13711938#comment-13711938 ]
Sateesh Chodapuneedi commented on CLOUDSTACK-3616:
--------------------------------------------------
After debugging found that copySnapshotToTemplateFromNfsToNfs is getting called while trying to create template.
Control goes to ** return new CopyCmdAnswer(""); ** which results in failure.
Wonder why it handles only XenServer and rest of hypervisors return fail answer.
protected Answer copySnapshotToTemplateFromNfsToNfs(CopyCommand cmd, SnapshotObjectTO srcData, NfsTO srcDataStore,

return copySnapshotToTemplateFromNfsToNfsXenserver(cmd, srcData, srcDataStore, destData, destDataStore);
}
return new CopyCmdAnswer("");
}
protected Answer createTemplateFromSnapshot(CopyCommand cmd) {
