svn export

Am I right in assuming that the result of the "svn export" command is a tree
that is *not* a working copy, i.e. doesn't have the bookkeeping stuff?

I'm working on a build script and I don't want to check out a working copy
just for the build.

On that note, does anyone have any ant tasks for subversion?

...Obviously, some things aren't very obvious.
