[jira][snickers] Thought I'd point out this JIRA task

I kind of created this after Wes and I talked about it:

http://nagoya.apache.org/jira/secure/ViewIssue.jspa?id=13322

Also its nice if we started tracking things via the JIRA. It's really a
nice tool that grows on ya.

If we can get into a good habit of using the JIRA the status for the
projects are all that much easier to get. I'm just anxious to use this
stuff since people struggled to get it setup for us. Let's just try
to use it hard for a few months and perhaps it will become automatic. This
is what people can start taking a look at to see what's on our plates.

I need a nice eclipse plugin that interfaces with JIRA. That would be
cool to have my todo tags synched.

We need email notification though. It sucks not to have that for now.

Alex

Teach me more about TDD dude. And more about how to use JIRA properly
if you have experiences with it.

It's like the TDD cycle: you're not allowed to add some code unless
you've got a Jira issue open. We can use it to capture stories,
improvements and design ideas that we discuss on the mailing list. This
really helps keeping track of why we do things.
