[jira] [Created] (HBASE-5956) Checksum Check

Vivek Jaiswal created HBASE-5956:
------------------------------------

             Summary: Checksum Check
                 Key: HBASE-5956
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HBASE-5956
             Project: HBase
          Issue Type: Brainstorming
          Components: replication
    Affects Versions: 0.20.0
         Environment: RHEL 5.6
            Reporter: Vivek Jaiswal
             Fix For: 0.20.0

We are copying the files through Rsync from our Data Center to the DR site. We want to verify the integrity of all the files which are transferred through Rsync. Basically we want to verify if the checksum values at DR site are of the same count in our Data Center

Hi Ramkrishna,

There was no error during rsync. However we want to check the integrity of
the data now in hbase when the rsync is complete
