[dashboard] newbie: how to get it to work?

Hey all,
Been using Maven a while, but new to dashboard-plugin :-)

I tried to follow the instructions given at:
http://maven.apache.org/reference/plugins/dashboard/properties.html

Attempt on 1.0-rc2 binary install, and with bootstrap install as of 5/6/04.

Attempts made with a multi-project, and then went back to a more simple setup with just a single project.  Both just check clover reports and checkstyle reports for aggregation as given in the instructions above.

So far, I can run "maven dashboard" and it pretty much just creates an empty, 64 byte, dashboard-data.xml file, and similar no-data report file.  Does anyone know where I could find a sample project that has this working, or any ideas please?
