> Different ServerNames of same ip in Master
> ------------------------------------------
>
> Key: HBASE-10626
> URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HBASE-10626
> Project: HBase
> Issue Type: Bug
> Components: master
> Affects Versions: 0.96.1.1
> Environment: hadoop-2.2.0
> Reporter: xinrong
> Priority: Trivial
>
> since the hadoop-2.2.0 need a reverse look up about hostname and our dns doesn't support the reverse look up, we configured the "/etc/hosts" of namenode, This lead a bug when we started hbase master in the same machine of namenode:
> the "HMaster" would get a "ServerName" which consisted of hostname, port,ts and get another "ServerName" from zookeeper consisted of ip,port,ts, One regionserver will be recorded twice.
