Back Button Support Not Working in All Browser

i have used the 

form.setVersioned(true);

i am populating a table with rows at button click

when i populate and hit back button of the browser then in
Mozilla Firefox : it returns to previous state as expected
Internet Explorer : it goes to previous URL
Google Chrome : it shows page expired

do i have to do something different to manage version in different browser?
