Ross Gardler updated FOR-969:
-----------------------------

             Priority: Minor (was: Trivial)
Description: Here's a patch [for the DOAP plugin] to make project pages link back to the category pages, so you can actually browse in a reasonable fashion (was: Here's a patch to make project pages link back to the category pages, so you can actually browse in a reasonable fashion)
              Urgency: Normal
           Other Info: (was: [Patch available])
    Affects Version/s: 0.8-dev
Summary: Add sensible site navigation in DOAP plugin (was: patch to make make the link between DOAP entries and their categories bi-directional)

I don't think having a link from the doap body back to an index page is a good idea. How do we know the body is being displayed in a site in which the linked index page is actually used?

The navigation links should appear in the navigation document for the specific rendering format. That means it should be in site.xml.

I've therefore changes this issue to a bug report, we need a way of embedding the DOAP page links into site.xml so that the navigation can be sensibly controlled.
