native compression llibrary

Doug,

When I do
   ant -Dcompile.native=yes tar
the native compression library is built but not placed in the tar file.

Is this a feature or a bug?

My bad, this does seem to work.  Not sure why it wasn't in the tar  
file I previously looked at...
