Working with a NiFi environment bound by HTTP proxies may be a nightmarish scenario. While Some processors have comprehensive proxy support (e.g. InvokeHTTP), others are unable to support proxies or support only unauthenticated proxies (e.g. ListS3).

While it is understandable that this is frequently caused by the various level of proxy support within the underlying libraries, we should strive to achieve a consistent set of proxy support across different processors.
