Unable to process data with tumbling windows

i have stumbled upon a small problem during my implementation with tumbling windows.


I am creating keyed data (key = Integer, value = Integer) with the help of a KafkaProducer and sending it to my input topic [1]. I made sure that the input topic does receive the data and it is possible to process this data in Samza with a simple map function [2]. The problem is, as soon as i attach a tumbling window to the processing in Samza [3], nothing happens. Samza does not process the input and does not create any output. The same map function[2] does not work if i attach it before the window or right after the window.


If more information is required, i will gladly provide it.
