Hi,
Tried replicating the bug on Windows 10 without success on both versions 4.0.1
and 4.1.1, following your steps as listed below:
- Open a new spreadsheet document.
- Open a second spreadsheet document (displayed at an offset x, y from the
first document)
- Select a cell in the new document (e.g. E4) and note the cell it selects.
Select another cell, and also take note of the cell that is selected.
- Move the second window around and perform step 3 at several different
positions. Note the cells that you tried to select, and the cells that were
actually selected in each case.
- Move the top window so that it is directly above the original window, and
repeat step 3 again.
- Open a third window and carry out the same test (steps 3 to 5).

Unfortunately, Mac OSX 10.10 no longer supports this version of OpenOffice, so
I couldn't replicate the bug on Mac.
