[users@httpd] help me

i have installed apache_1.3.27 on solaris 9 sparc 32 bits.i have configured
apache this way "CFLAGS="-DHIGH_SLACK_LINE=1024 -DLOW_SLACK_LINE=1024"
./configure ".i taked this message when i was start apache "[Tue Jun 24
15:58:10 2003] [warn] (22)Invalid argument: unable to open a file descriptor
above 1024, you may need to increase the number of descriptors" and i see
this message in error log file "fopen: Invalid argument
httpd: could not open error log file
/usr/local/apache/var/log/error/xxx".How could i solve this problem?
