[httpclient] javascript processing supported?

Does HttpClient support the processing of javascript in a page?

Specifically, it appears that a javascript function called in the
onload event of the body tag of the resultant page is not being
called.

Thanks

Chris

I had a feeling this was the case.

Thanks

HttpClient only support the HTTP protocol, that is a communication
protocol. HTML and Javascript are application-level languages. What you
want is a java-based HTML/Javascript browser, that is out of scope of
commons-httpclient.

You may look a HtmlUnit / jWebUnit to see what tools they use to parse
HTML and Javascript code.
