Xalan on Websphere 3.5.6 running on Solaris 8

Hi,

A while ago I had a problem similar to Philip's below but with WebSphere 3.5.6. I solved it by adding the path to my jars to the command line parameters of the websphere app server. Unfortunately, this only worked on NT 4.0 and it did not work on Solaris 8, anyone knows why?

Thanks,

Tarek Nabil

I can help you with this. Please answer the following questions:
(1) What platform are you running on?
(2) What is the exact subversion of WAS AS 4.x (4.0.3, 4.0.4, ...)?
(3) Do you want to use Xalan from one .ear file or many .ear files?
(4) What is your classloader visibility mode set to?

Gary
